Mobile widget


The Mobile widget displays information related to the mobile connection and the current signal strength (). Each filled-up bar represents a different RSSI value:

Teltonika RUTX50 IoT 5G Router

The RUTX50 IoT 5G Router from Teltonika will be available Q4 2022 in the UK and will build upon Teltonika’s range of Industrial 4G routers to deliver a new high speed IoT 5G Router solution for M2M connectivity.

The dual SIM 5G Router from Teltonika boasts a high speed Quectel 5G modem for 2.1Gbps download speed and 900Mbps upload as well as high speed WiFi 5 wireless hotspot as well as 5 x Gigabit Ethernet Ports for wired LAN.

The Teltonika RUTX50 5G Router has dual SIM slots for SIM failover for added resilience as well as the normal Teltonika RUTOS features for connectivity management including ping reboot, SMS reboot and timed reboots.

These failover features combined with the firewall and highly functional RUTOS makes the RUTX50 router the ideal choice for businesses that need an office 5G router as well as for M2M and IoT remote management and monitoring applications such as 5G CCTV Internet connectivity.

For standard office use, the Teltonika 5G router can be used with a standard unlimited 5G data SIM card, but for M2M / IoT applications where remote access to the router is required then an M2M SIM card with a fixed IP address would be required. These fixed IP SIM Cards can be supplied with a public IP address to enable direct connection to the router from the Internet or can be supplied with a Private IP address which would require you to connect your PC to the Fixed IP SIM provider via a VPN in order to remotely access your RUTX50 router and use port forwarding to communicate with any connected devices.

TRB500 5G Gateway

Teltonika have also announced the launch of their TRB500 5G Gateway which provides a 5G connection with a single Gigabit Ethernet port.

The Teltonika TCR100 4G Router is the ideal choice for home and business users that want a robust, reliable and secure 4G router. The RUT360 router is supplied with a UK PSU and elbow joint antennas for Cell and WiFi. The antennas are detachable and the connector is SMA so this means you can attach an outdoor 4G antenna if required.

This router has a single SIM card slot so you can insert a 4G SIM Card. Ideally the RUT360 router is used with a Fixed IP SIM Card which will enable the router to be remotely accessed for easy connectivity to the attached devices on the LAN.

Teltonika RUT240

Teltonika RUT240 is the new LTE 4G Router that provides a cheap 4G connectivity solution for M2M remote monitoring and management applications such as 4G CCTV for users that want a low cost 4G router with 2 x Ethernet Ports and WiFi.

RUT240

Teltonika claim that the RUT240 has a maximum download speed of up to 70Mbps, this is slower than many other 4G routers that use CAT4 LTE 4G Modems but should suffice for the majority of 4G M2M applications.

Whilst many manufacturers are moving to faster 4G LTE modems such as the new CAT6 LTE 4G Modem to provide worldwide connectivity with the fastest 4G speeds, Teltonika have focused upon offering the lowest price product for the cost conscious buyer who want the cheapest product for their application.

The RUT240 provides 2 x Ethernet Ports and WiFi so should be suitable for most users that want a low cost 4G router with basic functionality.
